Whichever formulas chosen, the passengers will be welcomed with a drink followed by a general briefing. Different aspects of the stay will be approached and the passengers will participate to devise the program under the technical guidance of the crew. The trips and cruises we organise are from 90 minutes. Each formula offers a different set of experiences. As such, please note that besides cruising, the possibility of indulging in diverse related activities like kayaking, SUP, or sailing, which are the trademark of Konkan Explorers, is available from the 3 hours trip formula. For a shorter trip, we propose a cruise on modern fiber Yachts. A satisfying and enriching moment in itself! Please feel free to contact Poonam for any specific requirements.

Kayaking Package
Duration - 90 mins (Including 10 min training)
Kayak type - Sit on top double and single kayaks.
Please note that the weight capacity is 110kgs maximum
​Tariff - Rs. 1634/- per person (minimum 4 pax is required to open a slot)
Rates are Calculated based on Age:

• Upto 3 years - No charges
• Between 4 yrs to 7 yrs - 50% Charges
• Above 7 yrs - 100 % charges ticket rate

Cruise Formula
​Tariff - Rs. 1500/- per person (a minimum of 4 pax is required to open up a slot)
For a private booking
- From 1-8 pax - Rs.12,000/-
- From the 9th pax onwards the price would be Rs. 1200/- per person
(Maximum 12 pax per yacht)
The Cruise lasts 90 mins. The yacht named Red Mangrove or the Stoa will ply on the Chapora River, or the Sea. Inclusive of limited drinks and snacks.

Discover Formula (2 hours)
​Tariff - Rs. 2500/- per person (a minimum of 4 pax is required to open up a slot)
For a private booking
- From 1-8 pax - Rs.20,000/-
- From the 9th pax onwards the price would be Rs. 2000/- per person
(Maximum 12 pax per yacht)
This is including the cruise on the yachts Stoa or Red Mangrove along the Chapora river or the Arabian sea. Possibility of bathing and swimming. Rights of admission in the water reserved. Inclusive of limited drinks and snacks. Passenger are allowed to bring food and drinks (also limited) on board. If so, please note that you have to inform us while booking.

Adventure Formula (3 hours)
​Tariff - Rs. 3500/- per person (a minimum of 3 pax is required to open up a slot)
For a private booking
- From 1-8 pax - Rs.28,000/-
- From the 9th pax onwards the price would be Rs. 3000/- per person
(Maximum 12 pax per yacht)
​- This is including a trip on Stoa or Red Mangrove along a river of Goa, most probably Chapora river or the Arabian sea as well as the activities proposed.
- Possibility of kayaking and/ or SUP activities on the river (including jungle), or the sea (along with dolphins…).
- Right of admission on the kayaks reserved.
- Inclusive of limited drinks and snacks.
- Passengers are allowed to bring food and drink (also limited...) on board. If so, please note that you have to inform us while booking.

Explorers Formula

(Maximum 12 pax per yacht)

- This is including a trip on Stoa and/or Red Mangrove along a river of Goa, most probably Chapora river or the Arabian sea as well as the activities proposed.
- Possibility of kayaking and/ or SUP activities on the river (including jungle), or the sea (along with dolphins…).
- Right of admission on the kayaks reserved.
- Possibility of sailing on the river or the sea. Sailing activity is subject to availability and weather conditions. Right of admission on the sailing boat reserved.
- The availability of sailing boats is not assured. Please, if interested, inquire while booking
- Inclusive of limited drinks and snacks. Passengers are allowed to bring food and drink (also limited...) on board. If so, please note that you have to inform us while booking.

FAQs

1. WHEN ARE YOU OPEN?
Unlike other shops, hotels and restaurant’s we are not open all the time. We are open only when a trip is booked in advance.
• Coming to the jetty/location for a on spot booking is not possible.
• We typically run 7 days per week all round the year.
• Trips are conducted during the day anywhere from 7am to 9pm
• Office hours for enquiry and booking is 10am to 7pm (Please no middle of the night calls, as we get some)
• In case we are not available on a call, do drop a WhatsApp message and we shall get back asap.

2. HOW DO I MAKE A RESERVATION?
Once you are sure about what KONKAN EXPLORERS is offering and it is what you are searching for (responsible adventure, close contact with nature and physical engagement) you are welcome to make your reservation.
Call us or WhatsApp us to understand better and we will help you with the booking procedure.
Booking is mandatory.

3. HOW SAFE ARE THE ADVENTURE ACTIVITIES AND DO I NEED TO BE SWIMMER?
Konkan Explorers has been operating for ten years improving permanently its procedures and process but it is not to be forgotten that we operate in wild environment and that proper attitude and approach are required. All our activities can be performed by both swimmers and non-swimmers alike. Life jackets are mandatory for both before the water activities start.

4. DO WE ALL NEED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PROGRAM OF WATER ACTIVITIES?
Whenever you book a trip, the task of Konkan Explorers management is to create a program of exploration (including itinerary, size of the crew, etc…) for your entire group. For the quality of the experience it is supposed that each member of the group is motivated and in capacity to participate in the exploratory program.

5. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE NOn - Private AND PRIVATE BOOKING?
• In an non - private booking there might be other guests with you on the trip.
• Private booking is where the boat is exclusively booked for your group.

6. WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM NUMBER OF GUESTS?
A minimum of 4 guests are required to open a slot. We can take a maximum of 12 guests on one boat and a total of 24 guests with two boats.

7. WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
Please note that any change in the number of passengers must be informed in advance.
• 100% of the amount paid shall be refunded if the cancellation happens a minimum of 20 days before the trip.
• 75 % shall be refunded if the cancellation happens from 19 to 15 days before the trip.
• 50 % shall be refunded if the cancellation happens from 14 to 8 days before the trip.
• No refund if the cancellation happens less than 7 days before the trip.
• Any bookings canceled from our end, due to unavoidable circumstances, 100% paid amount shall be refunded in three working days. For any cancellations drop us an email at konkanexplorersgoa@gmail.com

8. WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
Please note that as we are into water activities it is not as hot as it is on land.
Appropriate clothing for the weather, dry change of clothes, sun protection, hat, bathing suit & towel, or anything else you think you would need for a day on the river can be carried.

9. Do you have changing facilities on board?
As a matter of fact, we do! We have a pop up tent on board that goes up whenever our passengers need to change.

10. Do you have a toilet?
We have a marine toilet on board that is 100% biodegradable – that means, nothing is released into the water, therefore keeping the water clean, hygienic and safe to get in.

11. ARE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES AND SMOKING PERMITTED?
Konkan Explorers is an adventure company where we are in contact with natural forces. Even if we are attending and guiding our passengers, we expect from them physical fitness and control. Knowing this a drink is possible in a responsible way. Anyhow, water activities can be restricted by the captain and team if one is deemed to be in danger for themself or others.
Strictly NO SMOKING onboard.

12. CAN I BRING MY PET ON THE TRIP?
For safety reasons we have a strict no pet policy.

13. CAN WE TAKE OUR SPEAKERS AND PLAY MY KIND OF MUSIC?
It might surprise you but for the quality of your experience we do not accept exterior music.
We do have our speakers on the boat, the music genres are specifically curated to suit the mood and the surrounding. We are careful not to play loud music.
